Jamshedpur, April 22: Two groups of residents fell out with each other on the issue of possession of a flat situated at Mannat White Apartment in Golmuri Muslim Basti on Friday. Both sides lodged police complaint against each other in this connection.
Sources said one of the complainants, Jyoti Beno Barla, accused Guddu, Mehmood and three others of molesting her, breaking her mobile phone and abusing her by using caste-specific terms. The other complainant, Sulata Parveen accused Rameez Raja Khan, Zeeshan Khan, Aman Safedi, Jisu and six unidentified persons of assaulting her and snatching her ornaments.
Golmuri SHO Arvind Kumar said the case was related to an old dispute over possession of flat. He said a probe was on to verify the allegations leveled by both sides.
