Jamshedpur: In a proactive move towards ensuring the welfare of the community, cum-Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri undertook a surprise inspection of vital government establishments during his recent field visit. Beginning with the upgraded Hindi High School Chapadi under Musabani block, Bhajantri meticulously examined the attendance register, engaged with students from various classes, and advocated for a balanced and nutritious diet. Encouraging the consumption of locally available fruits and vegetables, he emphasized the importance of cleanliness and healthy living.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner also assessed the distribution of school dresses and directed the school management to ensure the quality of mid-day meals. Stressing the significance of environmental conservation, he instructed the planting of saplings within the school campus. Bhajantri delved into the Project Rail initiative, evaluating the weekly test evaluation process and motivating students to pursue their studies with enthusiasm.
Highlighting the district administration’s commitment to cleanliness, health, and education, Bhajantri continued his visit by meeting villagers in the area. He gathered information on the implementation of government welfare schemes, ensuring that benefits were reaching the intended recipients. His interactions focused on issues such as toilet availability, school attendance, and the utilization of ration and public pension. Expressing satisfaction over the enrollment of children in residential schools, Bhajantri stressed the importance of regular toilet use and encouraged those without facilities to construct them.
Further demonstrating his commitment to public health, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a surprise inspection of Kendadih Community Health Center (CHC). Thoroughly assessing facilities, cleanliness, and medical arrangements, he ensured that the hospital was equipped to provide quality healthcare services. Bhajantri inspected various wards, scrutinized duty rosters, and provided directives for maintaining a robust system. He emphasized the inclusion of all eligible villagers under the Ayushman Yojana, addressing not only medical needs but also ensuring access to safe drinking water.
In his comprehensive inspection, Bhajantri prioritized the well-being of patients, addressing concerns related to the hospital’s electricity system and urging the purchase of a generator for uninterrupted power supply. He underscored the importance of infrastructure enhancements, directing the construction of a wheelchair and stretcher-accessible ramp at the main entrance. Manjunath Bhajantri’s surprise visits reflect a proactive approach to governance, ensuring that essential services and welfare programs are efficiently executed for the benefit of the community.
While visiting the area, seeing some villagers sitting outside their houses, the Deputy Commissioner came to meet them. He took information from the women about the availability of toilets and asked the children about going to school. Also got information about whether they are getting the benefits of ration and public pension or not. The parents of the children told that all the children are enrolled in the residential school, on which they expressed happiness. He also talked about regular use of toilets and motivating those who do not have toilets in their homes to construct toilets.
