Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi held a Public Grievance Redressal Day at his office in the Secretariat, where he patiently listened to problems raised by citizens from various blocks and urban areas. People came forward with applications concerning personal matters, community needs, and public interest issues.
The grievances submitted included requests for family pensions, benefits for persons with disabilities, clarification on the appointment of watchmen, and memoranda on essential services such as drinking water supply, housing, and roads. Issues related to basic facilities and social welfare were also brought to his notice.
The Deputy Commissioner resolved several applications on the spot after hearing the citizens and directed departmental officials to take timely action on the pending matters. He stressed that applications linked to public issues and facilities would be given priority and assured applicants that appropriate measures would be taken without delay.
