Jamshedpur DC directs for motivating farmers on govt schemes

Jamshedpur, August 19 . A meeting of the district Atma,  a government Body and the District Food Security Mission executive committee was organized under the chairmanship of  deputy commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri.

Clear instructions were given in the meeting that by giving wide publicity to all the schemes run by the government in the interest of the farmers, connect the farmers with technical training and also encourage them to do farming in a scientific way.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed to increase the income by getting the production of button mushrooms done by the women of Sakhi Mandal. Along with this, instructions were given to prepare the farmers for setting up a processing unit for value-added products related to tomatoes selected under one district, one crop, in which the officials of NABARD and the bank were directed to cooperate.

Cultivation of Maduwa, Jowar, Kodo, Sawa under coarse grains which has been forgotten by everyone in today’s time, which is full of nutrition, that’s why instructions were given to promote the production of these crops.

Instruction were given for selecting the real farmer under the National Food Security Mission, Pulses Detection Scheme and Nutri Serial, detection, distribution of agricultural equipment, distribution of ingredients.
