Jamshedpur, March 12: Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal conducted a Janata Darbar at the Collectorate office where he interacted with common people, listened to their concerns, and assured appropriate action.
During the session, over 100 applications were received and forwarded to the respective departmental officers for investigation and prompt resolution.
In response to the plight of a physically challenged person from Bagbera, the DC immediately arranged for a tricycle through the Social Welfare Officer. Additionally, he ensured that physically challenged persons received all government welfare benefits as per regulations.
Various other grievances, including irregular ration distribution, illegal housing occupation, land encroachment, and forced Voluntary Retirement Schemes (VRS), were addressed promptly. The District Magistrate directed officials to provide progress reports on related matters timely.
