Jamshedpur Cyber fraud: Telco resident robbed of Rs 74,000

Jamshedpur, March 8: Cyber frauds robbed one Samuel Dutta of Telco of Rs 74,000 on Monday. The victim, a resident of River View Enclave, had searched for a customer care number of SBI credit card on Google to get his card activated and called up an unidentified person for help. After a while, he received a call from an unknown caller who asked him to download the Quick Support App. Dutta downloaded the app and was asked to log into his online banking portal. In a matter of few minutes, he received a message of withdrawal of cash from his account. He soon went to Bistupur Cyber Police Station and registered an FIR against the cyber criminals.
