Jamshedpur: Accused of molestation, man roughed up near Jubilee Park

Jamshedpur, March 8: Jubilee Park Gate at Sakchi witnessed a fisticuff between a man and the alleged molester of his wife on Tuesday. A roadside fast food cart was also damaged in the incident.

Sources said it all started when the accused, identified as Pankaj Jaisawal, was intercepted by the complainant Lavkush Rana and his brother-in-law near Jubilee Park. Accusing Jaisawal of having molested his wife and trying to force her to enter into a compromising relationship with him, the two beat up the accused. The husband alleged that Jaisawal, despite being married and knowing his wife’s marital status, often persuaded her to go to restaurant and resort with him and tried to exploit her physically. When Rana’s wife complained against Jaisawal to her husband and brother, they decided to confront him for his audacity, sources said.

Meanwhile, Jaisawal has rejected all the allegations against him.

Sakchi police was informed about the ruckus by commuters and local vendors. They said they were investigating into the incident to verify the allegations against Jaisawal.
