Jamshedpur CRPF spreads awareness on ‘Har Ghar Jhanda Abhiyan’

Jamshedpur, Aug 4: Har Ghar Jhanda Abhiyan, a campaign to spread mass awareness on the Tricolour, was launched at Swarnarekha Complex in Sundernagar under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration on Thursday. The Commandant of the 106th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Nishit Kumar led the programme. He was accompanied by the Second-in-Command Shailendra Kumar and other CRPF officials. The family members of CRPF personnel were also present during the programme. They were informed about the salient features of the Tricolour and the amendments made in the National Flag Code. All people were urged to hoist the Tricolour on their housetops from 13th to 15th August. It was decided to continue the awareness programme.
