Jamshedpur Crime: Two arrested for trying to sell looted mobile phones

Jamshedpur, July 31: Police arrested two youths allegedly trying to sell looted mobile phones near Modi Park at Bistupur.

Those arrested were identified as Mohammad Waseem alias Makka and Subhan Ansari alias Lalu, both residents of Gausnagar, Kapali.

Cops recovered five mobile phones, a Bullet motorcycle and a scooty from the possession of the accused persons.

According to Vishnu Raut, Officer In-charge of Bistupur PS, “We had got a tip-off about few youths trying to sell looted mobile phones near Modi Park. Two of the accused were arrested. They confessed having snatched mobile phones while riding bikes. They said they sell the looted gadgets at lower prices.”
