Jamshedpur Crime: Jeweler among five arrested in Sidhgora theft case

Jamshedpur, June 27: Police arrested five persons including a jeweler in coinnection with the theft in a locked house at Neem Bhatta, Bagunhatu, under Sidhgora police station area here on Sunday. Those arrested were identified as Raju Kalindi, Shibu Das, Juren Banra alias Bihari, Krishna Kalindi and Sandeep Prasad.

According to SP City K Vijay Shankar, the accused persons had stolen jewelry and other valuable articles from the house of one Sudhir Chandra Das in Bagunhatu. Sandeep Prasad, one of the accused, had purchased the stolen jewelry from the other accused persons, he said.

The SP said police had recovered the stolen jewelry and seized four mobile phones used by the criminals. The accused persons were caught in a series of raids, he said.
