Jamshedpur, June 27: East Singhbhum Civil Surgeon Monday directed all government health centres including Sadar Hospital, Parsudih, to conduct Corona test compulsorily from Tuesday.
As per the directive, all patients will be first tested for Corona before undergoing treatment. This is due to the steady and fast rise in Corona cases of late. After the third wave, the number of Covid patients had fast declined. But the number of such patients has once again started rising, sources said.
Sources said the patients coming to the various government health centres would be checked for Corona before they are allowed to enter the premises. Serious patients would be hospitalized and normal patients would be advised home isolation, they said.
Sadar Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr Bakhla appealed to all citizens of the city to exercise maximum caution and wear mask without fail.
