Jamshedpur, June 21: Four more accused in the case of theft of a loaded truck from near the Tata Motors Gate on April 15, were arrested by the Telco police. The arrested were identified as Chhota Govindpur residents Harish Chandra Sharma, Roshan Singh alias Paka, Ajit Kumar Singh and Rakesh Kumar Singh. Acting on information provided by the arrested persons, the police recovered goods stolen from the truck. The value of the goods recovered was put between Rs 55 and Rs 60 lakh. Earlier the police had recovered goods valued at Rs 10 lakh.
It may be mentioned that a truck carrying goods and equipment for tata Motors from TCI in Chennai was stolen from near the Tata Motors gate on April 15 and a complaint pertaining to the case was lodged in the Telco police station on April 19. However, the main accused in the case, Shrawan is still eluding the police dragnet. ASP City, Kumar Gaurav, while giving this information stated that the remaining stolen items would be recovered shortly for which raids are continuing.
