Jamshedpur: Court dismisses appeal in Cheque Bounce Case

Jamshedpur, July 8: The appeal filed by Sanjeev Kumar Bhagat against the acquittal of Shriram Singh in a Rs 9 lakh cheque bounce case was dismissed by the court of District cum Sessions Judge-1 Anil Kumar Mishra. Initially, the lower court, under First Class Judicial Magistrate Utkarsh Jain, had acquitted Shriram Singh on November 10, 2023, citing lack of evidence in the case filed by Bhagat, a resident of Mango. Following this decision, Bhagat appealed the ruling, which was subsequently dismissed after a hearing where Advocate Om Prakash represented the accused.
