Jamshedpur, June 8: In a significant breakthrough, the police have apprehended five individuals, including four minors, in connection with a robbery that occurred on Sunday in Shiv Mandir Line, under the jurisdiction of Ulidih police station in Mango. Surprisingly, one of the arrested individuals is Vishal Singh, an employee of the courier company involved in the incident.
Investigations revealed that Vishal Singh masterminded the robbery, and the police have also recovered the fake weapon utilized during the crime. Sources indicate that Vishal was employed in the same courier company and had a scheduled day off on Sunday. Seizing this opportunity, he meticulously planned the robbery with his accomplices, knowing that the office would be unoccupied due to the weekly holiday.
Vishal confessed to the police that the weapon used in the robbery was indeed fake and that he had purchased it online a few days prior to the incident. Collaborating with a friend from his colony, he executed the plan flawlessly. On Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:30 PM, two individuals entered the office and, brandishing the fake weapons, successfully looted Rs 29,000 from the staff present at the scene. The swift action taken by the police resulted in the arrest of Vishal Singh and his four accomplices, including minors. The recovery of the fake weapon adds weight to the evidence against the perpetrators involved in the crime.
