Jamshedpur couple hangs self after returning from thana 

Jamshedpur, October 22: Mukesh Agarwal and his wife Veena Agarwal, residents of MIG Colony of Adityapur police station area, committed suicide by hanging themselves in their room on Saturday.

After the incident, the relatives of the deceased had reached MGM Hospital with their bodies  where the doctors declared him dead after investigation.

 After the incident, the relatives of the victim have accused Veena Aggarwal’s mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law of inciting them for taking this step.

Adityapur police has also been accused of inaction to their complaints against their relatives and allegedly keeping silent after the victims were beaten by their brother-in-law and sister-in-law in the thana.

About the incident, Veena Aggarwal’s sister Reena Aggarwal alleged hat Veena was married three years ago and also has a child of two years.

After marriage, mother-in-law and father-in-law used to demand money from Veena. On being told that there was no money, she was tortured to bring money.

She also alleged that Mukesh Aggarwal used to work in Swiggy. From that his family used to run his house. He was also very upset with his parents. Mukesh was the youngest of five brothers.

Veena’s sister told that when she had gone to Adityapur police station on Saturday with a complaint that her mother-in-law and father-in-law were harassing her, she was beaten up in the police station by her in-laws who were called by the police for negotiation and she was driven away.

The relatives of the deceased are demanding action against mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law.
