Jamshedpur Coronavirus: Wear mask or face penalty diktat

Jamshedpur, January 4: East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar has directed for intensive mask checking campaign across the district.

The campaign will carried out in all the blocks and municipal areas of East Singhbhum district in order to make the prevention of Covid virus infection effective.

Dhalbhumgarh BDO Savita Topno and circle officer Sadanand Mahto, Dhalbhumgarh market area, Patamda circle officer C S Tiwari, Patamda block headquarter area, Bodam circle officer Nivedita Niyati,  Ghatshila CO Rajiv Kumar, District Statistical Officer Sukul Oraon, Kadma and other concerned incident commanders conducted an intensive mask checking campaign in their respective nurturing areas.

Directive were issued to masses that if they are going out of the house, then they must wear a mask or else action will be taken. The district administration has taken strict steps so that the prevention of Covid virus infection is not overlooked.

People were appealed to always follow social distancing and sanitize hands. Significantly, the number of Covid cases has increased in the district.  On an average 100 cases are being reported in the district every day in the last three consecutive days.
