Jamshedpur, Nov 26: The East Singhbhum District Congress Committee organized a Constitution Day program and election review meeting at the Congress office at Tilak Pustakalaya in Bistupur, under the chairmanship of District President Anand Bihari Dubey.
Addressing the gathering on Constitution Day, Dubey highlighted the Constitution’s provisions for fundamental rights, including equality, freedom, democracy, religious freedom, cultural and educational rights, and the right to property. He emphasized the importance of uniting all sections of society and safeguarding these rights for future generations.
The review meeting focused on analyzing the defeat of Dr. Ajoy Kumar, the party candidate for the 48 Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency. The meeting, held between 11 AM and 3:30 PM, included 48 members of the Election Conducting Committee, along with Block Presidents, Mandal Presidents, and senior party leaders.
Members presented detailed analyses of the election results, highlighting various reasons for the defeat. Suggestions and observations were documented, with a commitment to forward them to senior officials and party candidates. Anand Bihari Dubey assured that these insights would help strengthen the organization and improve its performance in future elections.
The program was coordinated by Sanjay Singh Azad with Vice President Brajendra Tiwari conducting the session.
