Jamshedpur Communal Violence: Shastrinagar under CCTV surveillance 

Jamshedpur, April 14: In all 20 CCTV cameras of high capacity have been installed by the district police at Kadma Shastri Nagar Block No 3 roundabout.

The team inspected the area. After this, different places were marked for installation of cameras. Apart from this, there is a plan to install CCTV at many more sensitive places in the city.

Police and magistrate are still deployed in the area affected by communal tension. However, things are fast returning to normal.

Traffic has started from this route. The work of widening the main road is almost in the final stage.

In Kadma Shastri Nagar block number-3 roundabout, the police have so far arrested 69 people from both the sides and sent them to jail. The name of the main accused and conspirator of the disturbance has not been made public even  five days after the incident.

In this case, the police have detained many people including BJP leader Abhay Singh, Sudhanshu Ojha, advocate Chandan Chaturvedi.

Bistupur police have arrested group admin Dhatkidih Harijan Basti resident Subroto Mukhi, Rishabh Mukhi and Kadma Ramnagar resident Ankit Mukhi on charges of trying to spread religious frenzy by creating a WhatsApp group and sent them to jail.

The BJP state leadership has decided that a movement will be launched regarding the role of the police in the Shastri Nagar episode. Former BJP state president Dineshanand Goswami met state party  president Deepak Prakash and other senior leaders at Ranchi.

During the talks, it was decided that the organization will not back down from every possible fight-movement regarding this matter. The district administration is taking unilateral action in this matter. The party will stand in support of the innocent workers of BJP and VHP. In this matter, soon a delegation will meet the Governor and inform about the situation.

The legal battle for the party workers forcibly sent to jail by the district administration will also be fought jointly through the court.
