Jamshedpur Citizens’ grievances: 41 out of 47 cases resolved in a day

Jamshedpur: In a continued effort to strengthen public service delivery and ensure prompt grievance redressal, circle officers across the district are regularly meeting citizens as per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi. This initiative mandates all circle officers to personally hear and address public complaints every working day between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.

On Friday a total of 47 applications were received from various circles of the district. Out of these, 41 grievances were resolved on the spot, with satisfactory solutions provided to the concerned applicants. The remaining 6 applications are currently under process and are being reviewed for appropriate action.

This system of daily public interaction has received encouraging responses from the residents. Since the initiative began, a total of 262 applications have been submitted by citizens, of which 219 have already been resolved. The district administration is also actively following up on the remaining 40 applications that require further investigation and processing.

Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi has emphasized that governance should be visible on the ground and not remain limited to paperwork. This direct engagement with the public reflects the administration’s commitment to transparent and responsive governance.

Service road on bothevsifes encroachments by vendors. Administration became spectators. We do not have city bus services. In Mango there is no Sabji mandi to shelter nearby village farmers.
