Jamshedpur Citizens Forum honours Tata Steel’s Ashish Anupam and ASL Group MD Dilip Goyal with Corporate Purush Award

Jamshedpur, July 2: The Jamshedpur Citizens Forum (JCF), a non-political organization dedicated to fostering a strong connection between the citizens of Jamshedpur, corporate houses, and the government, hosted an event to honor the unwavering dedication of community champions. The event took place at a hotel in Bistupur, where VP of Long Products at Tata Steel Ashish Anupam and MD of ASL Group Dilip Goyal were awarded the prestigious Corporate Purush Award.

For the year 2023-24, Ashish Anupam, VP of Long Products at Tata Steel, and Dilip Goyal, MD of ASL Group in Adityapur, were honored from the corporate and MSME sectors, respectively. The event was graced by Chaitanya Bhanu, VP Operations at Tata Steel Jamshedpur, who served as the Chief Guest. AK Srivastava, President of JCF, presented citations and trophies to Mr. Anupam and Mr. Goyal.

Ranjan Sinha, CPO of Tata Steel, also addressed the gathering, while Bhanu congratulated the awardees and commended JCF for organizing such events, highlighting their reflection of a progressive society.

AK Srivastava expressed satisfaction with JCF’s recognition of unsung heroes who selflessly contribute to the community without seeking personal gain. He emphasized that their actions have helped build a stronger and more compassionate society.

In his acceptance speech, Ashish Anupam expressed gratitude towards the citizens of Jamshedpur, attributing his success to the Tata Culture and dedicating the award to his team at TSL (Gamharia).

Dilip Goyal highlighted that such recognition inspires others to contribute to the community, emphasizing the principle of “seva” or selfless service, rooted in the Vedic tradition, as a path to spiritual growth and societal harmony.

Cdr Sanjeev Raman, Secretary of JCF, conducted the function and delivered the vote of thanks. The event was attended by a diverse group of attendees, including representatives from the corporate sector, senior citizens, the Chamber of Commerce, CII, Rotary, Lions, ASIA, and the intelligentsia of Jamshedpur.

JCF has a long-standing tradition of honoring senior executives from corporate houses and promoters of MSMEs in Jamshedpur and Adityapur. The Corporate Purush Award acknowledges their significant contributions to production, productivity, marketing, and corporate social responsibilities. Previous recipients include notable figures such as Mr. H.M. Nerurkar, Former MD of Tata Steel, T.V. Narendran, MD of Tata Steel, and D.B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President of Tata Steel.
