Jamshedpur, May 16: Police has failed to arrest Pradeep Chudiwala and family accused of abetting Rahul Agarwal’s suicide. A resident of Rourkela, Rahul committed suicide by jumping from Om Tower in Bistupur, Jamshedpur on May 5.
Relatives of the deceased along with members of Marwari Yuva Manch Jamshedpur branch and people of Marwari society took out candle march near Bistupur roundabout demanding justice for Rahul. People of the society in large number holding placards urged the people to arrest the Chudiwala and family at the earliest and demanded CBI inquiry into the case.
Police have earlier booked Rahul’s wife Varsha Agrawal, her father and businessman Pradip Chudiwala and three others of Chudiwala family for torturing Rahul and driving him to commit suicide.
Rahul jumped off the seven-storied Om Tower at Diagonal Road, Bistupur, after being allegedly tormented by his wife and in-laws. He had sent videos to his brother and a WhatsApp message to SP City before taking the fatal jump. He had blamed his wife and in-laws for his suicide.
