Jamshedpur, June 26: Pravindra Kumar Singh, 40, a BSF jawan, died of jaundice in Agartala on Saturday. The news of his death reached his family at Sheshnagar, Chhota Govindpur, early yesterday morning. Pravindra’s companions of BSF 9/1 Battalion brought his mortal remains in the city today. The deceased jawan was given guard of honour at his residence. His funeral procession was taken to Bhuiyandih Swarnarekha Ghat. A large number of people participated were present during the last rites.
Sources said Pravindra was suffering from jaundice for the last two months. His father Sukhdev Singh is a teacher while his wife is an ANM at Potka CHC.
