Jamshedpur boy Robin Murmu emerge topper in Jharkhand JAC Class 10 exam

Jamshedpur, April 19: Three students emerged East Singhbhum district’s top performers in the matriculation examination conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Board (JAC). Robin Kumar Murmu from Sakchi Vivekananda High School, Anup Tudu from Purnapani Tribal High School in Baharagora, and Sanjay Mahakud from Upgraded High School in Hensada, Potka, secured the highest marks with a score of 484 out of 500, equating to 96.8 percent.

Additionally, four students in the district achieved a score of 482 marks out of 500, equivalent to 96.4 percent. These students included Rakesh Basu Bhumij from Sakchi ADL Society School, Riya Rai from Golmuri St. Joseph High School, Shreya Kumari from DBMS Girls High School, and Pooja Sen from LBS High School.

Himanshu Mahato, a student from Purnapani Tribal High School in Baharagora, secured 481 marks out of 500, earning him 96.2 percent.

East Singhbhum district exhibited exceptional overall performances, attaining the highest position with a remarkable pass percentage of 94.0075 percent. In comparison, Hazaribagh secured second place with 93.835 percent, while Giridih claimed third place with 93.448 percent. Notably, Deoghar reported the lowest pass percentage at 84.531 percent.

West Singhbhum district secured the 22nd position with a pass percentage of 86.378, while Seraikela-Kharsawan district achieved a pass percentage of 89.570, placing it at the 16th position.
