Jamshedpur BJP to celebrate Amrit Mahotsav in grand manner

Jamshedpur, August 3: The Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit is bracing up to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in a grand manner with various exciting programmes lined up as a call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party’s National President JP Nadda and State President Dipak Prakash.

A meeting to discuss the blueprint for the Mahotsav celebrations was convened at the BJP district office in Sakchi on Wednesday. The meeting, chaired by Mahanagar President Gunjan Yadav was attended by BJP Morcha Presidents and other district office bearers. The programmes discussed in the meeting included the grand Tri-colour Yatra to be taken out from Subhas Bose Maidan (Ambagan Ground) on August 7 and successful implementation of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign between August 13 and 15.

Instructions were given to party office bearers to organize Prabhat Pheri (morning procession) in all localities in their respective command areas commencing August 9 up to August 12 in the form of an awareness campaign with particular stress on the Har Ghar Tiranga programme. In addition, the district working committee members were appointed as guests in the localities where Prabhat Pheri would be taken out as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

BJP District President Gunjan Yadav said, “The Tricolor is the pride and glory of every Indian and it is the citizens’ individual and collective responsibility to maintain this pride of being an Indian. On the occasion of celebrating 75 years of independence, a grand Tiranga procession will be taken out from Ambagan Maidan on August 7 and we will march along with songs in tribute to the valor of our martyrs who gave up their lives for the independence of our beloved Motherland.”

Gunjan also said that preparations for celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav were on in full swing to give an emphatic salute to all freedom fighters who ensured India’s Azadi. “The celebration of 75 years of our independence is an occasion to glorify our India that is a land of multi hued culture and tradition,” the BJP district President stated.
