Jamshedpur, June 23: Rich tributes were paid to Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his death anniversary by members of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP on Sunday.
District BJP president Dinesh Kumar led party members on this occasion. He remembered Dr Mukherjee as a great patriot, academician and freedom fighter. He said Dr Mukherjee had done a lot for the country and that he was always dedicated to India�s unity and integrity.
Kumar said Dr Mukherjee was against Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Dr Mukherjee died under mysterious circumstances on 23rd June 1953.
Among others present during the homage ceremony included Rajesh Shukla, Kalyani Sharan, Khemlal Choudhary, Kulwant Singh Bunty, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Chandrashekhar Mishra and Jitendranath Mishra.
