Jamshedpur, Jan 15: District BJP president Dinesh Kumar Tuesday expressed joy over the issuance of government notification for giving 10 per cent reservation to economically backward members of upper castes in government jobs and admissions in educational institutions. In a press statement issued today, he said the state government had taken the right step by issuing the notification following a Union Cabinet decision taken recently.
Kumar said many economically backward members of Sawarn communities would be benefitted by the crucial policy decision taken by the Central government.
Kumar said the economically backward members of the society would be given benefit of the reservation in jobs and admissions from today onwards.
