Jamshedpur, Feb 22: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders met the general manager of the state electricity department on Tuesday and handed over a memorandum to him demanding a solution for the problem of load-shedding.
District BJP president Gunjan Yadav said the residents of Jugsalai were facing problems due to frequent power cuts caused by load-shedding. He said the electricity department authorities had been requested to take necessary measures to prevent load-shedding.
District general secretary of BJP Anil Modi said the work of laying of underground power cables was going on in Jugsalai. After completion of work, the contractors do not fill up the pits on roads, thus inviting road accidents.
The GM assured to fulfill the demands of the party leaders and said the load-shedding problem would be solved soon.
