Jamshedpur BJP leaders demand jobs for workers’ wards in Tinplate Company

Jamshedpur, July 8: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP leaders Friday threatened to wage a massive agitation in support of their various demands pertaining to employment of local youths in Tinplate Company of India Limited (TCIL).

Addressing media-persons, BJP leader Appa Rao said, “We demand employment for the children of workers and other citizens in Tinplate company on the lines of similar arrangement for the employee wards. B.Tech students who are not employee wards should be allowed to fill recruitment forms in diploma rank. Children of workers should be given priority in jobs of permanent nature and the employee wards of medical department should be recruited on seniority basis. We also demand that school bus services stopped during the Corona pandemic should be restarted by the company management.”

The BJP leaders said they were seeking appointment from the Tinplate officials to meet the company MD for the last six months, but have so far failed to get it.
