Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Senior BJP leader and member of the State Transport Authority Rambabu Tiwary has requested Chief Minister Raghubar Das and DGP Kamal Nayan Chaubey to take a softer stance on certain points in the revised Motor Vehicles Act. Based on a press release issued on Tuesday, Rambabu Tiwary has stated that rules for driving two wheelers without helmet, triple riding and ensuring seat belts for the driver and front seat passengers should be enforced strictly. However, he requested for adoption of softer stance in so far as checking for vehicle insurance, driving license and pollution certificates. He also requested for good behaviour of police personnel towards women and senior citizens.
