Jamshedpur, May 25: Tragic circumstances unfolded as 30-year-old Krishna Yadav, a resident of Anand Vihar Colony on Post Office Road, Mango Police Station, Jamshedpur, reportedly took his own life by hanging. The incident was brought to the attention of the police by Krishna’s alleged wife, Reema Singh. Promptly responding to the information, the police arrived at the scene and forcefully entered the flat. They discovered Krishna trapped and immediately rescued him before rushing him to MGM Hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical intervention, the doctors declared him deceased.
Krishna, who was an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), operated a mixture shop in the Mango area. Following news of the incident, Krishna’s relatives also arrived at the scene to inquire about the tragedy. His maternal uncle, Mahendra, who arrived at the hospital, has raised allegations against Krishna’s alleged wife, Reema, asserting that foul play may have been involved.
Mahendra stated that Krishna’s wedding was scheduled to take place in Champaran on June 1, with the Tilak ceremony set to occur in three days. According to Reema Singh, she had known Krishna since childhood. In 2012, her family arranged her marriage to Sonu Chandra from their locality, with whom she had a son and a daughter. However, Reema claimed that her husband subjected her to physical abuse throughout their marriage. In 2018, Sonu left her, after which she married Krishna in a temple. Krishna provided her with a separate flat away from his family members. On May 20, Krishna traveled to his village, while Reema stayed at her maternal home. The police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Krishna’s untimely demise.
