Jamshedpur, May 25: A disturbing incident unfolded on Thursday when Chikna, a tenant known as Kachcha, along with his accomplices, launched a vicious knife attack on Karim, a resident of Hayat Nagar in the Ulidih OP area. Following the assault, Karim, injured and shaken, promptly approached the police and filed a written complaint regarding the incident. In response, the police immediately rushed him to MGM Hospital for necessary medical treatment. Karim shared his account of the incident, stating that he was inside his house when Chikna, also known as Katta, along with Zaid, Izhar, Chhotu, and Rashid, forcefully entered his residence and assaulted him with a knife. Notably, Chikna had been residing as a tenant in Karim’s house. Two years ago, Chikna had allegedly stolen a mobile phone from the premises, although the device was recovered the following day. As a consequence, Chikna had been incarcerated in relation to the theft case. However, he was recently released on bail, and it appears that the attack was motivated by a desire for revenge.
