Jamshedpur, Jan 5: Former Jamshedpur MP and Congress working committee’s permanent invited member Dr Ajoy Kumar has written to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to demand opening of the Jugsalai Road Over-bridge at the earliest.
Kumar said the ROB project was complete and now the long wait of more than three lakh people residing in Jugsalai was over. He said the ROB was not opened due to ‘political reasons’.
“Due to delay in opening of the ROB, people of Bagbera, Jugsalai and many adjoining villages are facing traffic related problems every day. The purpose of the ROB project was to provide relief to the people against traffic jam. But due to political reasons, the inauguration is getting delayed and the objective behind the project is being neglected,” said Kumar.
