Jamshedpur, April 5: Persistent power supply problems in Parsudih, Makdampur, Haludbani, Shankarpur, Sarjamda, Sopodera, Khasmahal, Golpahari and other localities have put denizens of these localities to great inconvenience especially during the prevailing summer conditions. A BJP delegation led by Parsudih Mandal President Tridib Chattaraj, handed a letter of demand for consistent power supply addressed to the electricity department’s Executive Engineer at the Karandih Electricity Department. A demand was made through the letter to rectify power supply problems in Parsudih police station belt. The letter demanded that load shedding time be fixed, dilapidated power network be replaced or repaired and speeding up of underground cable network being laid. Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP President, Gunjan Yadav was present on the occasion. Gunjan said that the delegation had come to urge the authorities concerned to ameliorate the persisting power problems and if the problems were not removed soon, BJP would launch an agitation. Other members of the delegation included Sujit Ambastha, Ravinder Singh, Devendra Singh, Ramesh Upadhyay, Sujit Singh, Mangal Karmakar, Dhiraj Sinha, Seema Munda, Ashok Singh, Kiran Rao, Santosh Srivastava and others.
