Jamshedpur, July 25: An unidentified motorcyclist died in a road accident near Sati Ghat at Marine Drive, Kadma, late Sunday night.
Sources said the mishap occurred when the victim was going towards Mango through Adityapur Toll Bridge. As he neared Sati Ghat, his bike rammed into a stationary truck parked on the road side. The truck driver fled the scene after the incident.
Local residents informed police about the incident. Police sent the victim to MGM Hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.
Police said the bike was registered in the name of one Dinesh Mahato.
