Cash and valuables stolen from Jamshedpur school

Jamshedpur, July 25: Unidentified thieves took away cash and valuables worth several thousand from Rajendra Middle School, Bagbera, late Sunday night.

Sources said they took away cash worth Rs 400, two pedestal fans, a wall clock and other articles from the school office after picking the locks. The thieves also threw away various documents, said Sheela Kumari, Principal In-charge of the school.

The Principal registered a police complaint in this connection. She has sought police patrolling around the school and action against anti-social elements frequenting the school campus after school hours. A police team reached the school and began a probe into the theft.
