Jamshedpur: Baridih Girls High School alumni relive ‘those days’

Jamshedpur, Jan 9: Baridih Girls’ High School alumni association organized its first reunion in the school premises. The reunion was inaugurated by AIWC Secretary Dr KT Bhatena jointly with Principal Jasveer Kaur Gill and former teachers Anjali, Amita, Seema, Aarti Sinha and Anil Baran Dutt.

Baridih Girls’ High School Alumni Association President Madhumita Banerjee, Secretary Falguni Roy and Moushumi placed their reports and were accepted unanimously. The Alumnus, after the meeting and discussions changed gears to the entertainment mode with songs and dances ruling the fun-time roost. Sarvajaya, Prema, Ishani, Chaitali, Soma Biswas, Soma Datta Bose, Madhumita, Papri and Moushumi. Bandana, Tamali Som, Madhumita, Soma, Debashree and Moumita performed a group dance composed on Phagun’s Mohana Geet. Sangeet, Anita Raha and Lastna recited poems while Shampa and Nandita performed a Shruti drama. More than 100 former students from the batches of 1980 to 2003 participated in the alumni get-together.
