Jamshedpur, September 13: Police has arrested the accused Swaraj Gagrai, who was involved in the firing incident that took place late on Monday night at Jalsa Bar in Dimna Chowk, located in the MGM police station area.
His arrest was made on Tuesday itself, which was officially announced on Wednesday. Illegal country-made pistol and bullet used in the incident have also been recovered. Swaraj Gagrai has told during interrogation that on the day of the incident, Devnarayan Yadav and Gunjan Kumar along with three-four of their friends came to the bar and forcibly started demanding liquor from the staff and the owner.
When refused, a fight broke out. Swaraj told that he did not like this incident due to which he got angry and fired at them with the illegal pistol. Devnarayan Yadav and Gunjan Kumar have been injured in this incident. A case is already registered against accused Swaraj in various police stations.
