Jamshedpur: Bagbera OC lodges cases against advocate after mutual reconciliation

Jamshedpur, June 20: Bagbera police station incharge has lodged cases against advocate and his son for obstructing a public servant from discharging duty at the Jamshedpur Court.

In this case, Bagbera police station in-charge Kaushalendra Kumar Jha has filed a case against Parsudih resident advocate Devendra Yadav and son Rohit Yadav in Sitaramdera police station. In this, a case has been filed for abusing, threatening to assault and obstructing government work.

Cases under Section 341, 342, 353, 504, 506, 34 has been filed under the Indian Penal Code.

Significantly, on Monday, the in-charge of Bagbera police station had gone to the court for some work. Bagbera police station in-charge alleges that in the meanwhile Devendra Yadav and Rohit Yadav suddenly came and assaulted them and did not allow them to do their work while obstructing government work. He was on duty at that time. He has been asked to take necessary action regarding this.

The Bagbera police station official had gone to the civil court of Jamshedpur to testify in a case. Meanwhile, advocates Rohit and Devendra first abused him in the court premises. On protesting, both thrashed him and also threatened to kill him.

The police official has alleged that he was not allowed to do his work in the Jamshedpur Court.

After the incident, K.K Jha reached Sitaramdera police station after consulting his senior officers and registered the case.

Incidentally, the incident between the Bagbera police official and the advocates in the court premises on Monday, was settled on the same day in the presence of Jamshedpur  District Judge Anil Kumar Mishra-One and Public Prosecutor.

Despite this, filing a case on behalf of one side in the matter remains a matter of discussion among the people. The advocate duo have also planned to lodge a case in the Sitaramdera thana.
