Jamshedpur: Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) in Jharkhand police, Nirmal Singh, posted at Jamshedpur civil court was injured at his house in Golmuri police line today when a bullet fired accidently from his service revolver hit his right leg.
The injured police was immediately taken to Tata Main Hospital where the bullet was taken out from right leg. The condition of the cop is stable. According to sources, the bullet fired while trying to clear his service revolver.
