Jamshedpur: AQI machine repaired after 10 days

Jamshedpur, Dec 10: The air quality index machine installed at Mango Chowk has eventually started working after a gap of 10 days. It had become defunct on 30th November last and stopped displaying the data related to air pollution levels. It was repaired on the initiative of the solid waste management expert of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) Saurabh.

As per the machine, the air quality index at 10.45 am was 320. The PM 2.5 and PM 10 levels were also reported to be 156 and 267 respectively. Carbon dioxide level was also reportedly high as per the machine, sources said.
