Jamshedpur, June 28: Members of All India Adivasi Mahasabha staged a demonstration before Jamshedpur Collectorate to demand rehabilitation of villagers displaced by illegal mining activities and industries in Kolhan.
The outfit leader Indra Hembram said various industrial houses had been exploiting the mineral riches of Kolhan since 19th century. He said the government never took the pains to find out the real picture of so called industrial development. He further demanded a fair probe into the exploitation of natural resources by the local industries.
