Jamshedpur Advocates abstain from work on third day of agitation

Jamshedpur, Jan 9: Members of District Bar Association of Jamshedpur continued the indefinite strike in favour of various demands on Monday. Today was the third day of strike. The advocates stayed away from work. They said the agitation would continue tomorrow.

The agitating advocates have demanded revocation of the court fee hike, implementation of Advocates Protection Act, welfare funds and other benefits for advocates. They said a meeting of the state Bar Council would be convened tomorrow. The decision of the Council would be followed by advocates all oer the state, they said.

More than 30,000 advocates across Jharkhand are on strike called by the Jharkhand State Bar Association.

  1. Why advocate bother for pay hike ,they ask any fees without receipt and without any target , once get in touch get binded lifelong till you have money .
    Maximum doctors also like this no matter how patients situations, raise fees as wish wo guarantee. But definitely cycle / scooter mistry should extend guarantee for their work definitely to fulfil time target also.
