Jamshedpur, March 26: In compliance to the district administrations directives, the Krishi Utpadan Bazaar Samiti assisted by Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce has opened Jan Suvidha Kendras at various city points including Mango, Sakchi, Golmuri, Jugsalai and other areas. Potatoes, onions, rice, lentils, wheat flour and other essential commodities will be available at fair prices.
The effect of the 21 day lockdown period has seen a steep rise in the price of essential commodities as retailers are selling these goods at premium prices. In view of this anomaly, the district administration with the assistance of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce has decided to open the Jan Vitran Kendra.
Chamber patron Mohanlal Agrawal and Bazaar Samiti secretary Sanjay Kashyap are monitoring the functioning of these centres and stocks are being replenished as per requirements.
Among the Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce delegation were Mohanlal Agrawal, Aloke Chowdhary, Akash Shah, Shambhu Jaiswal and Ramesh Ganeriwal.
