Jamshedpur: Accident victim dies in hospital

Jamshedpur, March 14: A 30 year old youth, identified as Karan Patro, died in a road accident after being run over by a speeding vehicle in Swarnarekha Colony under Olidih police station area late Sunday night, sources said.

Sources said the mishap occurred when the deceased was returning home on a scooter late night. A speeding vehicle knocked down the scooter, causing critical injuries to Karan. Karan died at the scene. His body was taken to MGM Hospital for postmortem examination. He worked as a mechanic in a private company at Adityapur, sources said.
