Jamshedpur, March 14: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to declare the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ tax free in the state. He said the movie showcases the torture of Kashmiri Hindus by Pakistan-back terrorists in the name of appeasement politics. He said the reality behind migration of Kashmiri Hindus was long hidden from public view. He said many states had declared the movie tax free in larger public interest.
Das said he had requested Soren to waive entertainment tax from the film so that a large number of people are able to watch it and become acquainted with the truth. He said people have a right to know what exactly happened in the Karshmr Valley that led to the large-scale migration of Kashmiri Hindus.
