Jamshedpur, Sep 12: A Jamshedpur-bound bus from Bihar rammed into a stationary truck parked on one side of the National Highway 33 near Rargaon (in Seraikela-Kharsawan) on Monday. One passenger died while several got seriously injured in the incident. The injured passengers were sent to MGM Hospital, sources said.
Sources said the mishap occurred between 3 and 4 am. The bus rammed into the truck from behind and was badly damaged in the incident, they said.
Ichagarh police reached the accident scene and began rescue operation. They said the bus was moving at high speed as a result of which the driver could not control the vehicle.
