Ghatshila, August 31: On Thursday, an Innova car going from Chakulia to Jamshedpur met with an accident while trying to save a Scorpio on NH 18 four lane near Tamakpal village of Ghatshila police station area.
In this accident, a woman and the driver along with two children traveling in the Innova were seriously injured. With the help of local people, all the injured were taken to the sub-divisional hospital.
Dr. RN Tudu, doctor of the sub-divisional hospital, provided first aid to the injured. He said that driver Mithun Mahato (38) suffered injuries on his collar bone and head. While Supriya Mishra and her 5-year- old son Rajshree Mishra also suffered minor injuries. All the injured were released after first aid.
On receiving information about the incident, Ghatshila police reached the spot and took information about the matter. Police have seized the crashed Innova car. It is said that the family of Chakulia journalist Pankaj Mishra was going to Jamshedpur in an Innova car.
