Jamshedpur: 4 electrocuted in waterlogged Parsudih houses

Jamshedpur, July 2: Four people, including retired railway worker Ganesh Tanti, were electrocuted in Makdampur under Parsudih police station.

There was water logging in Makdampur. The houses are full of water. When Ganesh Tanti went to his house to get some things, he got electrocuted there. Apart from this, three more people got electrocuted. But all three have survived. People reached the spot and somehow took Ganesh Tanti from there to Khasmahal Hospital.

In view of his critical condition, he was referred to MGM Hospital. He is undergoing treatment in the emergency at MGM Hospital. BJP leader Vimal Baitha told that when he got information about the incident, he immediately called the SDO of the Electricity Department and got the line cut in the area.

 He said that deputy commissioner Vijaya Jadhav had visited this area on Saturday. Despite this, the electricity department had not yet cut the line in this area. Due to this this incident has happened.
