Jamshedpur, Sept 12: An elderly couple and resident of Jadugoda has written to the East Singhbhum SSP seeking protection as neighbor Ram Tudu has threatened to harm them with an eye on their property. The husband, SP Singh, a former UCIL employees� union leader stated in his letter that he had been residing near the rear gate of UCIL plant for 40 years. He pointed out in the letter to the SSP that his neighbor Ram Tudu with an eye on his property always threatened him in the name of lodging and implicating him in false cases under SC/ST provisions and murdering him. SP Singh stated that he and his wife were scared even to venture out for necessities. He prayed to the SSP to protect him and his family and to provide relief from the threat to life and property. The Singh couple is awaiting the SSP�s response to the letter.
