Driver’s Daughter Emerges as JAC Class 12 Arts Jharkhand Topper

Bokaro: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the Class 12 results for all three streams, along with the official toppers’ list. Chhoti Kumari, a student of K.N. +2 High School in Nawadih, Bokaro, secured the first rank in the Arts stream across the state. She achieved a remarkable score of 478 marks, fueling her ambition to join the civil services and contribute to society’s development.

Overcoming Challenges with Determination

Chhoti Kumari hails from a modest background, proving that perseverance outweighs financial constraints:

• Family Background: Her father, Bhawani Shankar Nayak, supports the family by driving a rented vehicle.

• Sibling Support: Chhoti is the third of four siblings. Her father has consistently worked hard to provide an education for all his children, and Chhoti’s achievement has now brought immense pride to the family.

• Consistent Study Habits: Rather than studying for 10–12 hours a day, Chhoti focused on 4–5 hours of regular, disciplined study. She set her goal to top the state immediately after enrolling in Class 11.

Inspiration and Future Goals

Chhoti’s journey toward the top spot began with a desire to improve upon her previous performance:

• Motivation from Peers: After scoring 88.20% in Class 10, Chhoti felt inspired by friends who had performed exceptionally well. This motivation turned into a passion to excel in her senior secondary examinations.

• Career Aspirations: Recognizing her father’s long struggle to provide for the household, Chhoti wishes to secure a job quickly to share the family’s responsibilities.

• Mission for Change: While she aims to become a teacher to stabilize her family’s finances, she also intends to prepare for the civil services. Regardless of her chosen profession, she remains dedicated to the goal of contributing to a developed society.
